Converts between DS-101/DS-102 and Ethernet (MILSPEC/TEMPEST* device) (Datasheet)

Provides a conversion of DS-101/RS-458 or DS-101/RS-232 or DS-102 to Ethernet in either direction.

For DS-101 the wakeup signal is passed to the remote device

Powered by an extenal supply 9V - 36Vdc.

MILSPEC for environment, designed for TEMPEST.

Fielded and successfully tested.

Many uses including:

Remote Key Fill.  Fill keys from a key loader over an ethernet network to one or ore ECU's in a remote locations.

Key Loader sends key via DS-101 to the RKFD, RKFD sends to other end RKFD, Far end RKFD loads key via DS-101 port.

Key Loader sends key via DS-101/RS232 to the RKFD, RKFD sends to other end RKFD, Far end RKFD loads key via DS-101/RS232 port.

Key Loader sends key via DS-102 to the RKFD, RKFD sends to other end RKFD, Far end RKFD loads key via DS-102 port.

*Note: The RKFD was designed to meet TEMPEST.  The government approved the design by analysis instead of formal testing.
